Pro Blast uses different types of blasting media depending on the surface, location, and other factors. We meet with clients to evaluate the project and recommend the best blasting media. Options include sand, glass, glass bead, walnut, corn, soda and salt. We do not use silica sand. Silica sand can be harmful to the lungs and is a less effective blasting media than the others listed.
Pro Blast safely removes many types of coatings including rust, paint, epoxy, tar, sealer, mill scale, and powder coating.
Pro Blast has the capacity to handle jobs of all sizes, from classic cars and heavy equipment to the tallest towers and largest churches.
Pro Blast offers mobile sandblasting services in Wisconsin, Upper Michigan, and the surrounding states in the Midwest. Additionally, Pro Blast schedules jobs in the South during Wisconsin’s winter months. Contact us for availability.
Dustless blasting is a paint stripping and cleaning process that successfully removes coatings from a variety of surfaces. Pro Blast mixes an abrasive with water inside a blast tank, dramatically increasing the energy and mass of blasting while also suppressing the dust. Dustless blasting does not produce a huge plume of dust, like traditional sandblasting does.
