Pro Blast is a family-owned, mobile blasting company based in Green Bay, Wisconsin. Owner Jon Rose was a merchant marine 38 years before developing an interest in waste management. He opened a waste management company in 2014 and sold it to a large corporation in 2024. After the sale, Jon wanted to launch a new business that he could pass onto the next generation. He opened Pro Blast in 2024, investing in top-of-the-line dustless blasting equipment and a mobile trailer made in the U.S.A.
What is Dustless Blasting?
Dustless blasting is an Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and Division of Environmental Quality (DEQ) compliant process that uses water during the blasting process. The water traps dust, so there’s no dust plume or toxic chemicals in the air. Plus, dustless blasting produces very little run-off, and the run-off is easy to contain. Dustless blasting is a fast, eco-friendly, and effective way to prep any surface that needs new coating. Pro Blast Green Bay safely removes many types of coatings including rust, paint, epoxy, tar, sealer, mill scale, and powder coating.
